Our Story

More Than a Name. A Statement of Continuity.

The “X2” in OdodoX2 represents a simple idea: taking the development journey further.

Kogi State is a work in progress. Across the state, communities are witnessing investments in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, economic development, security and human capital.

OdodoX2 exists to tell that story.

We provide a platform for citizens, supporters, community leaders, young people and stakeholders to discover development initiatives, share experiences and follow the progress taking place across Kogi State.

Our role is to inform, document, connect and amplify.

We are independent and are not the official website of the Kogi State Government, the Office of the Governor or any government ministry, department or agency.

Our Goals

OUR VISION

To contribute to a better-informed and more connected Kogi State by documenting development, highlighting community impact and encouraging citizens to participate constructively in the state’s development journey.

OUR MISSION

To create a credible digital platform that:

  • Documents development initiatives across Kogi State.
  • Communicates policies, programmes and projects in accessible language.
  • Connects citizens with information about development activities.
  • Highlights community-level impact and human stories.
  • Promotes civic awareness and constructive participation.
  • Creates a reliable archive of the state’s development journey.
  • Amplifies initiatives that create opportunities for Kogites.

Our Main Goals

Our goals are built around recording the work, communicating the impact, engaging citizens and advancing the conversation about Kogi’s future.

Create a credible and accessible record of policies, projects, programmes and interventions undertaken by the Ododo Administration across Kogi State.

Use digital media, storytelling, publications and community engagement to bring greater visibility to development initiatives and their impact on citizens.

Provide citizens with accessible information about the administration’s development agenda, priorities, projects and progress.

Highlight real stories from communities, beneficiaries, farmers, young people, entrepreneurs and other citizens affected by development interventions.

Advocate for sustained attention to development programmes and initiatives that supporters believe are contributing positively to Kogi State.

Create an independent network connecting professionals, young people, community stakeholders, entrepreneurs and other supporters who identify with the Ododo development agenda.

Promote accurate, verifiable information about government projects and programmes while providing evidence-based responses to inaccurate claims and misinformation.

Provide an independent platform through which supporters can discuss the achievements, priorities and future development direction associated with Governor Ododo’s leadership as Kogi approaches the 2027 gubernatorial election.

Promote discussion around how existing development initiatives can be continued, consolidated, expanded and transformed to deliver greater opportunities for the people of Kogi State.
